Oil Basics & Beyond for Beginners

When: Friday January 14. 9 – Noon
This oil class is designed for beginners and will help you learn how to get started and work with colors. If you are new to oil painting I recommend you take the & Try It – Oil class on Friday, January 7 first.
There will also be presentations and demonstrations on color theory, use of values, designing a painting and oil painting techniques. The instructor will provide you individual help along the way. Some drawing experience is alway helpful.
Following the January 14 beginners class you can register for the 5-week series of Oil Painting Basics and Beyond. In this series you will learn the next steps in oil painting. The 5-week series is open to all level of oil painters. Separate registration is required on January 1, 2022.

Masks will be required of all students in this class. 6′ distancing will be maintained.
