It’s a Grand Morning – Acrylic Painting

The Grand Canyon is one of the seven wonders of the world and one of themes visited parks in the world. Come paint this beautiful national park full of color and wonder and learn atmospheric perspective. with your acrylic paints. This six (6) week class will emphasize the use of color and atmospheric perspective to create depth, drama, sunlight, and shadow. The class will reinforce what you already know or you can learn new techniques. – but most important you will have fun and play.
The class is designed for students with basic understanding of acrylic painting (application of paint, mixing colors, handling of the brush, etc.). But don’t worry, if you are a beginner you will achieve some success as well. Contact Robin Barnes with any questions at email@example.com.
Registration: This class begins Thursday, January 14, 2021 and runs through February 25, 2021. Class will not meet Thursday, February 18, 2021. Registration opens Monday, December 28, 2020. Class is limited to 9 students due to COVID safety measures. Click there registration button below to register. You must be a FAPC member to register for a class.
Fee: $120.00 for 1 class per week for 6 weeks.
Supplies: This class requires a 15 X 30 stretched canvas or canvas board. It is highly recommended to have a stay-wet pallet for acrylics to put your paints on or use large non-porous plates such as Styrofoam, plastic plates, or plastic-coated paper plates. Regular paper plates will not work. The supply list is attached.
