Lila is a professor of Art and Design, retired after 34 years of teaching in University programs both overseas and in the U.S. She has taught Drawing, Painting, Principles of Design, Art History, Art Humanities, Art Therapy and Fibre Arts to students of all ages. She enjoys drawing with mixed media and paints in watercolor. As a weaver her work demonstrates her appreciation of both Scandinavian and Navajo traditions.
Lila continues to teach privately: Drawing I, II, and Advanced Drawing, Drawing with Colour, Mixed Media Drawing, Botanical Illustration, Pen and Ink Drawing, Keeping an Illustrate Journal, Figure Drawing, Portrait Drawing, and Gallery Appreciation. She currently does public presentations on a variety of topics including: Art Experiences for the Elderly, Art Therapy, Medicinal Herbs, Plein Air Painting, Useing Plant Dyes on Wool Fibre, Tapestry Weaving and Art Fundamentals.
