I met Molly in a Santa Fe plein air class 2005-2009. We continued to run into each other at various exhibitions throughout New Mexico as members of the Plein Air Painters of New Mexico (PAPNM). Then at one of her studio shows we discovered that she was moving to Quail Creek (2013), a favorite vacation spot for us. I introduced her to Beth Ray, a nearby resident (and fellow member of the PAPNM), and they have been painting together ever since. Last year and this year, Sue and I joined them. We liked it so much that Sue and I are now the owners of homes here in Quail Creek, and I expect that we will continue to paint together in the coming years over the long winters.
All four artists used art throughout their careers in various ways from mathematics and biological sciences, to retail shop advertising and art therapy! Be sure to look at the websites and articles for more details and insight.
