Jean Pastore is an award winning professional artist. She has been painting since as long as she can remember. She attended Colorado State College where she studied art education and has studied with many well know artist over the years.
Jean is a watercolor artist, originally from Colorado, and attributes her successful painting style to her love of the Rocky Mountains and the colorful Southwest. She hasn’t always been a full-time artist. After college she was busy raising a family and worked for 30 years as a Property and Casualty Insurance underwriter/broker. Jean did get serious about art and painting in the 1990’s and has never looked back.
Jean was a popular art instructor in Colorado before becoming a full-time resident of Arizona in 2009. She has taught watercolor and acrylic painting in Quail Creek since 2010. Jean is a Signature member of the Colorado Watercolor Society and a member of the Southern Arizona Watercolor Guild and has attained both Signature membership the the prestigious Saguaro Fellow Award.
Jean has been a professional artist since 1999 and has displayed her art in many one person exhibitions over the years. Her paintings have received numerous awards in juried shows and are currently featured in many private and corporate collections.
