“You will learn the many aspects in the use of chalk pastels in this workshop. A pastel is an art medium in the form of a stick, consisting of powdered pigment and a binder. The pigments used in pastels are similar to those used to produce some other colored visual arts media, such as oil paints.”

 We will be painting fruit from real life which I will supply. I will be doing a demo on how to approach the subject and after the students will choose what type of fruit they want to recreate. I will mentor students individually. Each student will have a finished painting to take home.

Supplies are provided by the club. I will have a handout for anyone who wants to take further classes.
