An introduction to the types and use of an airbrush. Have you thought about purchasing an airbrush but want to try one out first.  Information about the different types of airbrushes will be provided.  This medium is used by Master scratchboard artists to push back colors, build shadows and backgrounds.  It can be used on scratchboards, clayboards, canvas and paper among other items.  Once the original color is down, it can be painted over, scratched through or used as a finishing product.  Have you always wondered how an airbrush works?  Come and try it out.  Acrylic inks and ampersand inks will be used in the airbrush.  We will be working with a small tool and will be spraying into a large box to keep spray back at a minimum.  Proper covering will be provided for all surfaces.

Bring a small canvas, clayboard or paper to play with to learn how to work with an airbrush.   Paper, Ink or fluid acrylic paint will be provided.
