Class Description:
In this class you will learn tips, tricks and use some experimental methods to enhance your watercolor. Watercolor can go beyond traditional brush work by using common items, different tools and tricks to create unique textures and patterns.
Each class will feature a different lesson and we will learn to create the elements in landscapes, floral and much more. We will experiment with different papers, inks, watercolor pencils and many other exciting ways to achieve texture and a different look. Lessons will include a drawing for you to trace and step by step demonstration so you can build confidence in your painting ability or you can use or own photo and drawing as long as it is the same subject as class lesson. HAVE FUN in this class, and enjoy learning in a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of personal attention.
The class will use a lot of supplies you already have in your paint kit or common items you will have at home. If you don’t have some unique things I have most items and will share. Prior to each class I will let you know what you need to bring for the next class.
If you are not attending classes, you are probably not painting or continuing to learn. Come join our class.
Supplies:
A plastic sheet to cover table. If you have painted in watercolor before, your own watercolor supplies will be adequate for this class or email me for a supply list.
