Class Description:
A great class for all Bird lovers! No drawing experience necessary. Learn the basics for making beautiful bird drawings with charcoal. Working with charcoal is easy and intuitive once you understand the basic approaches and techniques. We’ll go over these techniques in a fun and relaxing way. Each week, you will make a simple Arizona bird image with your new techniques. We’ll start by looking at inspiring images from art history that demonstrate the techniques. Then I’ll walk you through the process step-by-step. This class is great for beginners/intermediate, but I’ll work with more advanced students to help you hone your skills.
