Class Description:
Abstract landscapes are a visual experience, but the main goal is to paint the emotive feeling of the scene. In abstract landscapes, it is more important that it “feel” like the thing than “look” like the thing. In this class we will experiment with different ways to do this through the use of color, value and shape. You can work on canvas or paper with just acrylic or by adding mixed media supplies.
