Class Description: In this class you will learn how to use pen to create animal drawings. You will learn specific pen drawing techniques and approaches. We’ll start by looking at inspiring images from art history that demonstrate the techniques. With a focus on animals, step-by-step you will create beautiful drawings with lovely textures, depth and composition. More than just a good likeness we will aspire to capturing the spirit of our furred and feathered friends. Pen allows you to make dramatic images with lots of details, as well as simple line drawings.
