Class Description: This series is designed to hone your drawing skills. All sessions are beginner level but open to more advanced students who want to hone a specific skill (see list below.) Select from the list below and let me know which ones you want to attend. Each class is priced separately, sign up for the dates that best suit your needs. If you take them all, you will have learned all the basic elements and principles of drawing. You can create your own summer drawing course, without having to repeat lessons you already learned. Email with any questions.

6/25 – Learning to Draw – Perspective Atmospheric

7/2 – Learning to Draw – Composition Unity & Variety

7/9 – Learning to Draw – Composition Balance

7/16 – Learning to Draw – Scale & Proportion

8/6 – Learning to Draw – Rhythm

8/13 – Learning to Draw – Emphasis

8/20 – Learning to Draw – Color Theory

8/27 – Learning to Draw – Color Schemes

Member and Non-member’s Class Cost for Teacher: $25 per individual class

Non-Member’s Additional Fee: Pay one time $40 extra to the Club (QCFAPC) or become a member of the Club for $25 a year.

○ 11”x14” 80lbs or heavier drawing/sketch pad (9”x12” or 18”x24” is fine)

● Medium

○ Graphite pencils: 4H 2B 6B (or similar assorted pencils)

○ Box of soft vine Charcoal

○ 1 Soft and 1 hard charcoal pencil

○ Set of Prismacolor Premier 12-pack colored pencils (for color sessions only – last 4 listed)

● Additional Supplies

○ Drawing board

○ Kneaded eraser

○ Staedtler Mars plastic eraser (or equivalent) Pencil sharpener w/ canister

○ 18” metal ruler

○ Table covering
