This class will be under the Summer Fee Program where students tell the teacher at registration if they will be missing a class in this series. The first day of class, students pay for all of the classes they will attend at $25 per class.
Non-Members pay an additional $40 to QCFAPC or join the Club for $25 a year.
Supply Fee: $5.00 payable to the teacher at first class attending. Supply fee includes special papers for printing on the Gelli Plate.
Class Description:
Do you want to explore Mixed Media? Have you ever wanted to work with a Gelli Plate to create beautiful hand printed papers? Do you want to learn how to take those papers and create a beautiful piece of art? If so, then this is the class for you. I will walk you step-by-step through all the processes to create a “one of a kind” piece of original art that you will be proud to display in your home. What you will learn in this class is only the tip of the iceberg in Mixed Media, but it will get your creative juices going and inspire you to explore Mixed Media further. We will create a floral arrangement and I will provide you with many “inspiration images” to get you started. You will choose one, and work to create a close likeness of that image. If you enjoy this process, then you can move on to more complex works in my future classes. Most of all, we are going to have fun!!! Even my demo’s are fun and bring out a lot of “ahhhh’s” when you see the results for the first time. To register email me at: eortega412@aol.com.
