Supplies for Beginning Drawing
Drawing tablet. It is best to have one with a spiral binding but any drawing sketch book will work. It should be 9×12 inches
or 11×14 inches.
Graphite (lead) pencils. HB,2B,4B maybe 6B. H stands for hard and 2,4,6B are soft graphite. The softer the graphite the
darker it will be.
Masking tape to hold your paper to a board, which the studio has, or for a better choice foam core cut a bit larger than your
paper. The masking tape and board are not required if the drawing tablet has a firm back on it.
Eraser preferably a kneaded eraser or a dust free eraser. The kneaded eraser allows one to knead it into a small point if
needed.
Tortillon or blending stump. This is not a must but can be beneficial.
TIP: Walmart has some art supplies that are inexpensive. I got my Drawing tablet with spiral top , Faber Castel pencil selection with eraser in a boxed set and foam core there.
