Watercolor, Pen, and Ink

This is an exciting mixed media combination that will enhance your understanding of how watercolor, pen, and ink work together to create dynamic and exciting works of art. While watercolor illustrates tonal values by suggesting where light, shadow and color appear in the painting, ink takes on the role of defining texture and accentuates details.
You will learn techniques such as cross-hatching, criss-cross lines, honeycomb cross-hatching, scribbling lines, bruising techniques, and more. Instructor demonstrations will cover drawing the picture and inking and painting at all stages to get to the final product.
Skill level: Intermediate
Registration begins August 17th by emailing Paula at: altamiranopaula5@gmail.com. She will send you a confirmation and a materials list. Payment of $80.00 is due on the first day of class.
Class Fee: $80 per student per 4 week session payable to the instructor at the first class.
