Acrylic Painting – In this 4 week series we will be discovering the world of Henri Matisse. A 20th century pioneer, He is celebrated for bold colors, flat styles, and expressive lines that brought vibrancy and elegance to his diverse works which included painting and cut-outs. In this beginner-friendly acrylic painting class you will explore the use of color, decorative motif, expressive line work, and the magic of abstraction to create your own unique art piece. Let’s have fun!
Dates: Fridays, December 1, 8, 15, and 29, 2023 (No class on 12-22-23)
Times: 1:30 – 4:30 pm
Maximum Number of Students: 12
Skill level: Beginner to Intermediate (Some proficiency in painting in your media – including oil and watercolorists – are welcome.
Class Fee: $80 per student, payable at the first class to the instructor.
