PAINTING ANIMALS IN WATERCOLOR
Instructor: Jean Pastore
Learn to paint animals using watercolor. We will try capturing the essence of the animal in their natural habitat and further explore painting portraits of our favorite household pets. In this 5-week session we will use photo references of animals and you may use your own photos or use my drawings to complete your painting. We will pick a theme each week so that we are working on the same type of animal. The focus of the class will be on the key elements of painting animals including eyes, nose, fur, feathers, and body structure.
Dates: Mondays, January 22, 29, and February 5, 12, 19, 2024 (5 week series)
Times: 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Maximum Number of Students: 12
Skill level: All levels, but some experience in watercolor is needed.
Class Fee: $100 per student payable at the first class to the instructor.
