LEVEL: Beginner to Advanced
In this class, we will continue with what was covered in session one and covered last year from the color theory class, using either oils or acrylics. You do not have to take session one or last year’s class to take this course. We will apply value relationships, value patterns and value schemes to specific color schemes. You will create 5 paintings using 5 different color schemes – monochromatic, three colors, analogous, complementary and analogous with a complement. The objective in this class is that you will gain an understanding of all the wonderful color/value possibilities available and find new ways to express yourself through your work as you explore color and value schemes.
