Description:

In this class you will learn to use acrylic paints to mimic the beautiful loose style of watercolor. Why would we use acrylic paint? Because acrylic paints are so versatile you can rework them and play without getting a muddy overworked look in your art. Most students use acrylic paints on canvas in a heavy oil-like application. This class will teach you a different method of painting and will show you how to obtain beautiful watercolor results. The lesson will include a drawing that I will use for the demonstration. You can use this drawing or your own as long as it is the same subject matter. Be prepared to learn something new and have fun in the process.
