Figure Drawing a Model
Dates- Fridays, March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, 2023
Time- 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm
This art experience is an opportunity to learn figure drawing by drawing along with the instructor. It is a chance for all artists who want to work with the figure and hone their artistic skills to observe someone who has had experience with figure drawing and to practice along with them. Models will be provided fully dressed, possibly in costume.
The instructor’s role will be to lead each session, time the model’s poses, see that there is a model or someone to get a model and help participants when asked. The instructor taught figure drawing in her past life.
Supplies:
Use what you like to draw with. Recommend an 18×24 inch Newsprint pad. Drawing pencil, eraser, pencil sharpener and charcoal. Drawing materials should make very dark values when pressure is applied.
Registration Starts February 17
No previous figure drawing experience is necessary.

Class Fee: $20 per class.
