INTERMEDIATE WATERCOLOR CLASS

INSTRUCTOR:  Judy Ross  (Thursday mornings from 9:00 to 12:00 p.m.)

Now that you have completed Beginners watercolors you are ready for this class.  We will work on values, structure, glazing  and new techniques to produce a painting each week!

Costs for this class is $80.00 for all 4 sessions.  Payable at the first class.

Paints: Winsor/Newton Professional Watercolors                          Brushes:  Wash Brush- 1 1/2 Hake or Sable

  1. *New Gamboge (Yellow)                                                                                 Rigger Brush #2-5
  2. *French Ultramarine (Blue)                                                                           Flat Square Brush-3/4 or 1 ” Angle Ended
  3. * Alizarin Crimson (Red)                                                                                 Round Brush #8
  4.  Sepia                                                                                                                    Fan Brush
  5.  Burnt Sienna                                                                                                      Old oil brush/bristle brush
  6.  Raw Sienna
  7. Sap Green

Paper:  140 lb. Cold Pressed ARCHES Winsor/Newton  (Block is best for class)

Materials:

  1. Palette
  2. Water Jug/Tray
  3. Small and Large Masking Tape
  4. Paper Towels-Toilet Paper
  5. Natural Sponge
