Good drawing skills are the foundation of all art. Whether you are a beginner, or want to continue honing your skills in graphite pencil, this class will help you create that solid foundation for all your art by “learning to see”, break things down into simple shapes and elements, and maximize each mark you put on your paper.
Working with a skilled instructor, explore the basics of composition and perspective, line, value, form, positive and negative shapes, and texture as you work from supplies and still life items brought by the instructor.
Weekly lectures, demonstrations, exercises and personalized help are designed to spark your creativity and interest, help you pursue fine tuning the quality of your artwork and create work with greater impact as you develop a solid foundation of basic skills.
Registration Starts: April 5, 2023
Bring a table cover for your space to each class.
Class Fee: $100.00 to the Instructor the first day of class when you sign in at the entrance to the art room.
