Drawing – The illusion of Light presented by Lyn Rackley.
In this class you will work with still life set ups to explore the effects of light. We will cover modeling, mapping, managing edges, moods, merging shapes, and designing with light. The objective of this class is to help you become familiar with the many ways you can use the effects of light and value in your work. Out of the tools artists use to create illusions, in 2 dimensional spaces, light can be one of the most dramatic.
Dates: Fridays, March 22, 29, and April 5th, plus Thursday, April 11, 2024 (4 week series)
Times: Fridays from 1:30 to 4:30 pm plus Thursday, 4/11 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Level: All Levels welcome!
