In this 2-day workshop you will hone your charcoal drawing skills.  You will learn specific charcoal drawing techniques and approaches.  We will start by looking at inspiring images from art history that demonstrate the techniques.   With a focus on animals, step-by-step you will create beautiful drawings with lovely textures, depth and composition.  More than just a good likeness will aspire to capturing the spirit of our furred and feathered friends.  Charcoal allows you to be both expressive and accurate at the same time.

This class is for intermediate charcoal students, meaning you should have some basic drawing skills and familiarity with charcoal.  More advanced students are welcome too.  This is a Members Only workshop.  Please see the Membership section on this website for more information on joining our club.
